  : Good selection at breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception - who suggested nearby places to eat (the hotel did not offer dinner). Excellent staff on the bar (big thanks to Mac and his team).
  : Few small issues in the room. Water escaped under the shower screen (and could have leaked to the rooms below - we had to wring out the floor towel between showers!!) - the bar for the toilet roll was not properly attached to the wall (not a major concern) - the AC seemed pretty ineffective. Each of these are small issues - hopefully the hotel will fix these in the quiet season. On our last night some guests wanted to use cash to pay for drinks - but there was no change in the till which was surprising for what appears to be a well run hotel.

  : The general staff were lovely however the Management made no effort to smile or acknowledge us and we were there for a week ( 5 nights with a golf trip & 3 nights vis Booking .com)
  : Bedroom was very small with NO drawer space - we had to pile clothes on the floor.

  : The bed was nice, staff were very welcoming and professional. Cleaning services are working nice.
  : Once glorious, the place hasnt been restored and maintained for years. Bathrooms are first to require a renovation. The shower cap was spraying water all over that place. The bathtub wasnt looking clean so we never used it. The fan was okay. The lobby had an old furniture and the respective odour. Pictures at Booking are nice, in reality, it was an aged hotel. However the overall experience was positive. Its just deceiving, expectations and reality.

  : The staff were very very friendly. They explained to us in details about the busses and historical sites. The toilettes were clean, view of the room was very nice and in general it was very good.
  : The breakfast was limited, i expected more. In the rooms, we could literally hear the others in the other rooms talking, and the others could hear us. at night we had to be extremely quiet in order not to disturb anyone, and with quiet i mean we had to whisper.
