  : I'm the wife and writing the review!I'm going to leave a full review on Google and Trip Advisor with details. I will never stay at this place again and I think Lorenzo owes us our money back. I spent my entire stay after the incident- very uncomfortable, feeling unsafe and miserable because of this. I cannot believe you asked my husband to not leave you a bad review because of this. You should have refunded our money from the day of the incident to the end of our stay. There's certain things you just don't do, no matter what your culture is. This was unacceptable and you violated our privacy. Apologizing every day and offering us fruit does not fix what you did. And to ask us to not leave the info in a bad review- you know what you did was wrong.SINGLE TRAVELERS BEWARE!! DON'T STAY HERE. I woke up to the owner standing over our bed, shaking my husband's foot to ask him if we were ready for breakfast. He let himself into our room!! Luckily, I had my pajama bottoms on! He opened the door several times that morning, but to wake up the 3rd time to him standing over our feet touching my husband-- NO NO NO! This was around 845 in the morning. His excuse was that we'd left so early the previous morning so he thought he'd wake us up on this particular morning. What?!? NO!!! What if I was naked? What if we were enjoying a romantic morning?? What if I were in that tiny shower?? I usually sleep with little to no clothing on. How dare you!! And you offered us apology bananas??The room was standard size in comparison to most places we stayed on. Beds were old and mattresses had permanent flat areas where people have slept. The towels smell like they were washed in vinegar, no soap. The shower was small and the bathroom needs updating. It was hot while we were there (guess it'll be a late winter arrival this year) - no AC, no fan, and the owner kept shutting the one window we had because he thought it might get chilly.

  : Great location surrounded by the ancient rome sights and great food places just around the corner. The host was very friendly and made our stay very pleasent. He did everything he could to give us a nice stay!
  : The breakfast was very plain and we ended up going out for breakfast instead. Our room was just in front of the reception which resulted in a bit of noice in the early morning when breakfast was prepared right outside the room.

  : Excellent location, 5 minute walk from Roman Forum, 7 minutes from Colleseum, 1km from main train station.Multiple restaurants and a small grocery on same street, 5 minutes or less walking.Lorenzo, the concierge, is one of the most helpful people you will meet. He gave great advice on where to get tickets for the Forum, the general location of things, including a street with restaurants/shops with products priced less expensive than what you will find on Via Cavour, the main street.Breakfast was excellent, delivered to the room by Lorenzo, featuring hard-boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, butter, jam, juice, coffee, etc.

  : A comfortable, affordable bed & breakfast. Lorenzo, the owner/host is very friendly and courteous. He was available for our questions and delivered important information for touring the city. He gave us a feeling of security and of being welcomed to the big city. The breakfast is a good day starter. The location is superb! few minutes walk from the Coliseum and San Pietro in Vincoli church (Moses' statue). It is located in the Monti neighborhood, where you can find tons of restaurants and scenic allies. The neighborhood has a good vibe and we enjoyed walking the streets and feel the energy (especially on Saturday -Sunday). The room was very clean and was just enough for what we needed.
  : To keep the room ventilated, we needed to keep the window open, and the street below is noisy and hectic. This is not so bad, but something to be aware of.
