  : We like the food and we like the room, it was a good size and well equipped. We enjoyed walking, the staff are very nice and quickly helped us to find our way around the city. We felt safe in the vicinity and the restaurants around the hotel are very nice indeed, there is very good value for money. Also, the location is excellent and has very good transport links. Regardless, we actually walked back and a forth to the Colosseum! :)
  : it seemed a bit old/outdated, but we didn't mind much about that because out room was on the first floor and we could quickly get to the room whenever we came back from all our walking.

  : We are not typically "picky travelers"---it was just my daughter and me. I'm starting to wonder if they see upon arrival that we booked through booking.com and that we aren't a couple, so they provide us with the "lesser" of their available rooms. (This seemed to happen with another booking on this trip as well.) The size of the room was fine. The shower/bathroom was decent. There was hot running water for showers. It was nice that they had a restaurant next door so you could purchase coffee or breakfast items. The desk clerks were pleasant/friendly.
  : The room needs some major updating! It looks like it has been that way at least since the 1970s. The bedspreads were clearly soiled---dark streaks on them. This made it hard for us to feel comfortable about "peeling the covers away and climbing in." The carpet has been there for many, many years I presume. I'm not sure whether this is a select "budget" room for booking.com users?? All the amenities that could be offered don't matter if the room feels unclean. P.S. the lovely picture with their site is nice. We did NOT have fresh flowers in our room.

  : Extremely unfriendly staff at the reception at night and morning, it was not possible to sort out my request for a bill until one came in in the afternoon and my requests were countered with abusive words.
  : I was travelling for work and needed a good sleep but the room I was given was directly facing the main road and quite noisy. I remarked that but I was assured that later at night, everything would be calm and quiet. It wasn't at all and also the other guests were very noisy
