  : I payed more than $800 for one night stay price I cant say this place is luxury hotel. It is not luxury hotel at all not how it is described on the booking.com they website Room view nice but amenities in the room not good very very old dirty carpet in the room dirtiest carpet I ever seen felt gross walking on it with my bare foot dirty old curtain unbelievable just a overpriced felt like got scammed as a tourist paying that much for this kinda hotel.

  : Ill start by saying that they were up front about the fact that our room for four was not in the main hotel. That opulent marble lobby is nice but we were loaded into a golf cart and driven to a nondescript door, up two flights, and into a room that was like a medium grade Airbnb. We were handed a set of four keys that opened each of the doors required to get upstairs. Theres no satellite desk or easy way to contact the desk. We were handed a sheet of information about the lounge overlooking the colosseum and after a long day of travel decided wed like to go there. We called because the information said reservations required. It had literally just opened for the day. We walked to the main lobby and instead of being taken in were asked to sit in the lobby for a bit. It wasnt clear why we had to wait, when we finally went in there were tables with people and others open. Its a pretentious bar with a killer view of the colosseum, I wont even complain that our drinks and a couple of snacks were 54. We asked for the bill, it had a space for room# and name, signed it, we left. Fantastic dinner for four nearby with bottle of Prosecco 80. Back in our room we went to bed around 10 in preparation for a long flight the next day. At 11 PM we had a phone call: we see that you went to the lounge and signed to your room. Yes, we had. We intend to charge your credit card for that amount.That the card would be charged was expected but the wait before the lounge and an 11 PM call was annoying. Luxury is more than marble, it means treating your guests well. The apartment option seems like a second class experience. Maybe the person who called at 11 PM had a smile on their face but it all came across as rude.
