  : STAYING HERE WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE!!!We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids 8 and 12 years old, To start with: the air conditioning (AC) wasn’t working properly. We arrived in the room at 00:00 on the 1/7/22, at a time that Rome had a heat wave. We turned on the AC but there was no change in the temperature (settings 18/cold/fan full speed) which resulted in us waking up sweaty at 4 o clock in the morning. Next day we sent a msg to the owner reporting it. (They mentioned it would be fixed with the cleaning). It is worth to mention that we spent the day sightseeing at 38 degrees in Rome so in the afternoon when we went back to the apartment to have a bath and get some rest, and the AC wasn’t working properly ( no COLD air getting out of it) we got really pissed off!!!! Adding to this the water was NOT HOT (it was very cold actually). I called the owner whereby they politely offered another room THAT STILL DID NOT HAVE HOT WATER. We informed the owner and waited for about an hour without getting a response from them. Since we were staying in Rome for 2 full days we decided that it wasn’t worth it to wait for a reply and we searched for another property to stay and at least enjoy the rest of our time in Rome. As of today (3 days later) we did not get a reply from them. Also when we asked for a refund ( at least for the night that we did not use the property) or a compensation for the bad service offered we never got a reply. We reported it to booking as well, but they were unable to do anything. Also the area is not very good for tourists, there are some big garbage bins at the pavement in front of the property that are very smelly, not a lot of bars restaurants close-by. If you decide to stay you can do so AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

  : Impossible to sleep - apartments are facing a busy street which is noisy 24 hours per day and the window insulation very poor. It then takes an engineer to have the keys fit the door locks necessary to enter. Far too expensive for what you are given.Then , but this is just my own personal experience, it might be different for you: very poor response (zero resposnse) pre stay to basic arrival requests)
  : Not being able to sleep due to the noise

  : A sitting / communal area would have been good.
