  : ​The property is surprisingly small, rundown and tired with a total of two double rooms, a triple and a tiny communal kitchen/dining area where the 90yr old male proprietor provides an early continental breakfast ​for which we were given no choice of time​.​​ He told us 8am​.As he showed us around our room​,​ the air con would not work, there ​were no toiletries in the bathroom with only a single toilet roll available. The shower head in the bath had no wall mount so you had to hand hold it during use​.​ ​O​ne of the bedside table lamps listed to ​the side and also did not work. When we returned the next evening still no toilet roll replacement but luckily I bumped into the maid and she produced ​o​​ne from a cupboard for the three of us.The owner was a former jet pilot and commander in NATO which he proudly kept reminding us of during our stay​ but he kept forgetting who we were and how long our stay was.​We really had a wonderful time in Rom​e​​, however​ the checkout experience on the third morning of our visit ​had a profound impact on us and marred our holiday so much that we will never return to this beautiful city as we had promised​.​We had quickly realised that the owner was not capable of managing his hospitality business. He was confused and his poor grasp of English made it very difficult for any guests such as ourselves who did not speak Italian to communicate​.On the morning of our departure as we checked out in readiness to fly home I produced my bank card​ to pay​, but he told me that the final payment had already been taken, was in his account and gave me a receipt.​ ​As we went to the exit door he suddenly pushed it closed and started to yell at us in Italian. Eventually we realised that he was attempting to tell us that we hadn’t paid the final bill.

  : Hoast is great, such nice old gentleman. Acomodation is on excelant location and with fine bars and restourants near by. There. was pleanty various food for breakfast.

  : The location of the appartment was great, 5 min close to St. Peter basilica and near bus station. Communication with the owner was smooth, he was very responsive and helpful.

  : The shower was very small in our ensuite so we had to use a shower out on the main area corridor it was a better size

  : The room was big, there was a refrigerator in the room, and plenty of towels. You can walk to the Vatican, but the bus station to the city of Rome is a little far away.
  : It doesn't serve breakfast as the name says.

  : The property was in a good location.
  : There was a lot that did not meet the expectation. The pictures advertised are old and property is different to this. On arrival, there was no one to greet us we had to call and try locate the property owner to let us in. He is 90 and English is really limited. We were placed in a room that was next to the kitchen, this meant every morning at 6 we would get woken up to crashing of plates etc in the kitchen. The air con did not work. The breakfast was ok, but we had undercooked eggs twice and very stale croissants on all days. The room was ok but very dated. The owner tried but due to his age it seems he struggles with the general up keep. On leaving he tried to charge us again and thought we had been staying for a month which was not the case. This was a worry as he was not able to communicate this well with us.

  : The host was super nice. Simple but tasty breakfast, coffee was amazing, fresh croissant every day. Close to Vatican. The room was clean and comfortable
